HER2 Gene Analysis on HGC-27 Human Gastric Carcinoma Cell Lines Treated with Annona Muricata L. Ethanolic Extracts

Abstract

Gastric cancer is a major global health concern with high mortality rates due to late diagnosis and limited therapeutic options. One of the molecular targets in gastric cancer treatment is the overexpression of HER2 in certain gastric cancer cell lines. Nowadays, natural plant extracts have gained attention as potential alternative therapies. Therefore, in this study Annona muricata ethanolic extracts have been used against HGC-27 cells to evaluate the effect of the treatment on HER2 gene expression before and after treatment.
