MySE Vol. 11 No. 2 (2024) presents fifteen interdisciplinary studies addressing sustainable development through construction, housing, heritage, environmental management, education, and human-centred design. The issue examines construction waste, sewage-sludge conversion, sustainable waste practices among students, private-sector housing, affordable-housing accessibility, and public expectations for sustainable residential architecture. Cultural and design perspectives explore Catholic school landscapes, heritage restoration, cross-cultural fashion identity, architectural education, and biophilic architecture. Nature-based and well-being research investigates harmonious human–nature urban ecosystems, sensory therapeutic landscapes, restorative campus spaces, and visitor satisfaction at a mangrove ecotourism park. Collectively, these studies highlight the importance of resource efficiency, ecological stewardship, accessible housing, cultural continuity, responsive design, environmental education, and community experience in creating resilient, inclusive, and sustainable built and natural environments.
