MySE Vol. 11 No. 1 (2024) presents thirteen interdisciplinary studies advancing sustainable infrastructure, construction, energy, community resilience, and environmental design. The issue examines the socioeconomic effects of LRT3, cost performance in rail projects, IBS readiness in Sarawak, BIM assessment for local authorities, residential building defects, and the reuse of demolition waste in concrete. Environmental and social research explores small hydropower potential, green mosque architecture, rural transformation through education hubs, urban density and mental well-being, and community-based flood adaptation. The role of communication and culture is addressed through narrative imagery for environmental awareness and a sustainable public-art framework for Melaka. Collectively, these studies emphasise technological innovation, resource circularity, inclusive infrastructure, climate adaptation, effective project management, environmental communication, and context-sensitive design as essential pathways towards resilient communities and a more sustainable built environment.
