About the Journal

The Journal of Administrative Science (JAS) (e-ISSN: 2600-9374) is an international scholarly journal dedicated to the publication of original research in administrative science and related fields. Published by UiTM Press on behalf of the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, JAS provides an avenue for the dissemination of scholarly works that contribute to theoretical advancement, evidence-based practice and policy development.

The journal welcomes high-quality theoretical, empirical and interdisciplinary research addressing contemporary issues in both developed and developing contexts. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, public administration, public policy, governance, political studies, corporate administration, social work, environmental administration and related areas within the humanities and social sciences.

JAS adopts a double-blind peer-review process, whereby the identities of authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on their originality, academic contribution, methodological rigour and relevance to the journal’s scope.

The journal is published biannually in April and October. Manuscripts submitted to JAS must represent original work, must not have been published previously and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal is committed to maintaining ethical standards, transparency and good practices in scholarly publishing.
