This paper presents a bibliometric study on research trends related to PVDF-HFP polymer electrolytes used in electrochemical devices as energy storage. Data was gathered from two major databases which are Scopus and Web of Science with publications from 2015 to 2025. The analysis analyzes the research trend changed in the last decade in terms of synthesis methods and development of PVDF-HFP as polymer electrolytes, countries contributed in this study, years with the most publications and comparison of findings from both databases. VOSviewer software is also used to map keyword occurrences and highlight common research keywords linked to PVDF-HFP polymer electrolytes. The results show an increase in publication with more than 12 papers and “gel polymer electrolyte” as the highest occurrence keyword from both databases.
