About the Journal
The INSIGHT Journal (IJ) (ISSN: 2600-8564 ONLINE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across the broad domains of social sciences and humanities. The journal is published biannually (January and July) and is committed to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship that contributes to both academic knowledge and practical applications.
IJ provides a global platform for the dissemination of original empirical, theoretical, and methodological research in areas including, but not limited to, accounting, business management, law, information management, administrative science, public policy, language studies, Islamic studies, and education. The journal particularly encourages contributions that address contemporary societal challenges, promote cross-disciplinary perspectives, and generate insights relevant to both regional and international contexts.
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring impartial evaluation based on originality, methodological rigour, theoretical contribution, and relevance to the journal’s scope. IJ adheres to internationally recognised standards of publication ethics and integrity, aligning with best practices in scholarly publishing.
Publication Frequency
IJ is published biannually, with issues released in January and July.
Open Access Policy and Article Processing Charge
IJ operates under a full open access model, providing immediate and unrestricted access to all published content. Readers are permitted to read, download, distribute and reuse articles in accordance with the journal’s licensing terms.
To support the sustainability of its publishing operations, IJ charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of RM100 for accepted manuscripts. This fee is transparently disclosed and does not influence editorial decision-making, which remains solely based on academic merit.
