The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has not only impacted the service and industrial sectors within and outside the country but has also influenced changes in human values. Despite the progressing advancements, deficiencies in humanitarian values have led to difficulties in shaping holistic students. The formation of a holistic student needs to align with the knowledge, values, and skills possessed to remain relevant to the job market and current needs. However, issues such as student involvement in drug abuse, infant abandonment, wild parties, and the increasing prevalence of mental health problems indicate a deviation in affective or psychological aspects. This study focuses on analyzing the affective domain in the Ethics and Civilization Appreciation course (PEP) at institutions of higher learning. It also applies content analysis to documents and conducts structured interviews. The research findings reveal that the course information for each university supports the implementation and development of good values and ethics in students. In conclusion, the affective domain becomes central to the development of holistic students based on the National Education Philosophy to achieve a balance in physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual aspects grounded in belief and awareness of God.
