Abstract

The transformation of asnaf entrepreneurs through the Human Development Program is a proactive initiative by the Islamic Religious Council of Negeri Sembilan (MAINS) aimed at helping to increase the potential of the asnaf group in the entrepreneurial sector. This initiative is in line with MAINS' objective to enhance the effectiveness of zakat distribution through a two-pronged strategy, which is to ensure that every asnaf is able to live a prosperous life while building their potential to get out of the shackles of poverty. With the rise of Industrial Revolution 4.0, online applications and digital media platforms can increase the potential, competitiveness and marketability of Small and Medium Industries (SMI), especially in the digital entrepreneurship. Therefore, this research aims to identify the involvement of asnaf entrepreneurs in Negeri Sembilan in the digital entrepreneurship. Next, it aims to develop the potential of digital entrepreneurship through the AsnafTech 4.0 Module to increase the competitiveness of asnaf zakat entrepreneurs in Negeri Sembilan. The study was carried out quantitatively through the distribution of questionnaires to 40 respondents among MAINS asnaf entrepreneurs. The findings of the questionnaire were then analyzed descriptively to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the AsnafTech 4.0 Model to produce competent and competitive asnaf entrepreneurs. This developed model is able to be an added value for MAINS and asnaf entrepreneurs in Negeri Sembilan to increase their competitiveness, further contributing to the realization of the two-pronged goal of the zakat institution itself.
