The Tahfiz Al-Quran program offered to the visually impaired at Darul Quran has provided this group with the opportunity to officially memorize the Quran together. This study, therefore, aims to identify the learning techniques of Tahfiz Al-Quran practised by the visually impaired and further analyse the differences in methods compared to those practised by the non-visually impaired group. This study employs a qualitative approach by analysing documents related to tahfiz learning for individuals with disabilities, as well as conducting interviews and in-depth observations of eight visually impaired tahfiz students at Darul Quran. The results of the study reveal eight techniques used in tahfiz learning, namely the techniques of reading and perfecting tilawah, tikrar (repetition), determining the rate of memorisation, selecting appropriate times, focusing on specific verses, using the same mushaf, individual memorisation, and voice intonation. These techniques have successfully enhanced memorisation achievement and maintained consistent memorisation performance each semester. The findings of this study are significant as they serve as a guide for the next generation of visually impaired huffaz to better understand the techniques for memorising the Quran within the specified time.
