The Influence of the al-Quran on Imam Bilal Muda UTM's Willingness to Contribute to the Ummah

Abstract

Since the Qur'an was revealed to mankind, its influence in shaping human beings across various aspects is beyond doubt. This raises the question: to what extent does the Quran affect or influence UTM's young imams and bilal in their commitment to serving the community? Therefore, this study was conducted to address this question. Using a quantitative method, this study involved 27 prospective imams and young bilals from UTM as respondents. The analysis revealed that UTM's young imams and bilals have a strong relationship with the Quran. They are also willing and prepared to contribute to the community at UTM and its surrounding areas. Furthermore, Pearson's correlation analysis identified a strong influence of the respondent's relationship with the Quran on their willingness to serve the community. Ultimately, it is hoped that this study will raise awareness among various parties about the importance of the Quran as a source of inspiration for humanity.
