In a specific level of study, studying at public and private universities entails a significant financial investment. However, individuals who are financially disadvantaged to continue their education, such as the poor and needy who rely primarily on zakat contributions, are still able to do so. Furthermore, the reduction in scholarships and the absence of sponsored programmes for students who wish to pursue higher education, such as MyBrains, have made it more difficult for them to achieve their goals. The goal of this research is to determine the method for distributing education zakat at the degree level to asnaf through schemes and forms of support offered by the Kedah State Zakat Board (LZNK) both locally and internationally in the public and private universities. The data for this study was gathered through a literature review and a field study using the interview method, which is a qualitative research methodology. The data analysis method, on the other hand, employs an inductive approach. According to the findings of the study, LZNK uses a variety of transformations in the delivery of education zakat to students. Aside from that, LZNK created new conditions for Middle Eastern students so that the education zakat distribution method would benefit human capital greatly. Furthermore, this research recommends a number of techniques that might be used to address the issues of higher education in light of the Industrial Revolution's 4.0 progress.
