Call for Abstracts: Final Year Project (FYP) Session: October 2025 – February 2026

The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, invites all FYP students to submit their research abstracts for publication in the JSC Abstract Proceedings.

Important Dates

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 27 January 2026

  • Notification of Acceptance: Within 3 days of submission

  • Publication Date: October 2026

 Submission Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Open exclusively to FYP students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, UiTM Shah Alam.

  • Language: English only.

  • Word Count: 300 – 350 words.

  • Template: Must strictly follow the JSC Abstract Template.

Special Notes & Requirements

  • Submission Channel: Online submission only via the OJS Platform. Submissions via email will not be accepted.

  • Mandatory Attachment: Authors must upload the signed Authorship & Publication Agreement Form as a supplementary file during the submission process.

  • Auto-Rejection Policy: Submissions will be automatically rejected if:

    1. The signed agreement form is missing.

    2. The abstract does not follow the prescribed JSC template.

 Special Note for FYP Supervisors: By endorsing the submission, supervisors acknowledge the following:

  1. Google Scholar Impact: The abstract will be published in a digital proceedings book with an e-ISSN. Once indexed, it will automatically appear in your Google Scholar profile.

  2. PRIME Registration: This publication is eligible for registration in PRIME under the "National Conference" category.
