About the Journal

Bioresources and Environment (BioEnv) is a peer-reviewed, international open-access, and interdisciplinary publication forum focusing on issues related to biological, environmental, and social aspects of global sustainable development. Biological resources and the environment are intricately intertwined, but it has taken a while for the general public to recognize this connection. This crucial feature of sustainability is beginning to attract the attention of interdisciplinary research communities; however, much more work is required.

This journal focuses on the links between environmental and biological resources, as well as the ongoing need for a more holistic approach to their management. Research that integrates bioresources, environmental sciences, environmental management, conservation, and other relevant concerns is also encouraged. The journal aims to be an invaluable reading material not just for academics, but for industries, policymakers, and other interested parties.

BioEnv is published online in February, June, and October by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). This journal welcomes English-written original full research papers, short communication, and review articles for rapid dissemination. There will be no article publication charge (APC).
