Abstract

Quality of Work Life (QWL) is one of important practice in Human Resource Management (HRM) that aimed to enhance employee well-being. It is applied to ensure the workers can enjoy good work environment and other practices and to boost their job performance and reduced turnover. This paper aims to assess the concept of QWL within textile manufacturing industry. The review highlights the necessity for textile manufacturers to implement effective QWL strategies to foster a motivated workforce and maintain competitiveness in a challenging market. This paper explores the concept of QWL within the selected industry, as this industry known for its demanding work conditions and high employee turnover. By prioritizing QWL initiatives, organizations can create a more supportive workplace that not only attracts talent but also retains skilled employees, ultimately driving innovation and growth within the industry. This paper contributes to the understanding of QWL as a strategic HRM practice and offers recommendations for future research and practical applications in the textile sector.
