Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- The manuscript adheres to the Author's Guidelines, formatting and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Manuscript Template. The submission file must be in Microsoft Word.
- The manuscript does not contain any information that could reveal the authors' identity and their affiliations in the manuscript. The corresponding author needs to upload a separate "Author Information" file that contains the following information: (1) Authors' name and affiliation, (2) Acknowledgment; (3) Authors' biodata, (4) Authors’ contributions statement, and (5) Corresponding author's main mobile phone number. This information should not be disclosed in the submitted manuscript. The last item (#5) will only be used for communication purposes and will not be disclosed in the published manuscript.
- The Word manuscript has been cleared of any third-party referencing script (e.g. EndNote, Mendeley).
- Ensure that all the authors and affiliation details are correct when entered into the system during the submission. We shall not entertain any further changes upon publication.
- When submitting the revised manuscript, a supplementary document entitled 'Response to the Referees' Report' needs to be uploaded. The template can be downloaded here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UCABBZNhcuUC6xGKEwI-lXJslhm9xJIW/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103918957701206744705&rtpof=true&sd=true
- When submitting the revised manuscript, please highlight the changes made using the highlighter tool in MS Word.
- The manuscript is submitted with at least 5,000 words in length, excluding references and appendices. If the study involves a questionnaire-based survey with latent variables, include a table containing the item wordings (manifest variables) in the appendix.
- The manuscript has been 'spell-checked' and 'grammar-checked' (proofread). All references mentioned in the Reference List should (i) be cited in the text, and vice versa; (ii) neither be fake nor generated by artificial intelligence; and (iii) contain a valid and functioning DOI address.
- The scope of research should reflect the journal's main themes, namely business, economics, banking, finance, and management, from either or both the Islamic and emerging economies contexts. The paper must be written in English. If British or American English is used, please ensure consistency across the manuscript.
