The Journal of Emerging Economies and Islamic Research (JEEIR) (ISSN: 2289-2559) is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal published bi-annually in January and June. Established in 2013, it succeeds the "Economic Bulletin" (2004-2007), a printed publication from the Faculty of Business and Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (UiTM).

Focus and Scope: The Journal of Emerging Economies and Islamic Research (JEEIR) publishes high-quality theoretical and empirical research in the fields of economics, finance, business, and management, with particular emphasis on emerging economies and Islamic perspectives. The journal is a platform for the dissemination of rigorous, theory-driven and empirically validated knowledge to a core audience of academics and researchers. The journal covers a broad range of topics including Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant practices, financial technology (FinTech), risk management, corporate governance, entrepreneurship and SMEs, supply chain management, consumer behaviour in Islamic markets, and sustainability-related issues such as ESG and socio-economic development. Interdisciplinary and policy-relevant studies that contribute to advancing knowledge and practice in emerging and Islamic economic contexts are especially encouraged.
