Analysis of Glycoproteins and O-Antigens Related to Antibiotic Resistant in Klebsiella pneumoniae

Abstract

Studies on antibiotic resistant due to Klebsiella pneumoniae are essential to ensure success in the treatment and prevention of diseases. New approaches are needed to both prevent and cure these infections as a result of the advent of multi-drug resistance (MDR) K. pneumoniae. Therefore, the objective of this study is to pay particular attention to the differential expression of the selected proteins as well as o-antigens in resistant vs non-resistant isolates. This is due to the fact that previous studies have found that they are one of the causes of antibiotic resistance.
