Guide for Authors

e-Academia Journal (e-AJ) is a biannual electronic journal published by Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Terengganu. Submission of papers or manuscripts to e-AJ is based on the e-poster Call for Papers announcement, which is posted on the official website and shared with potential researchers and scholars via email.

 

Article Types

e-AJ accepts only empirical papers for publication.

Preference is given to manuscripts using primary data; however, rigorous studies using high-quality secondary data will also be considered.

All submissions must provide a substantive scholarly contribution and demonstrate methodological or conceptual rigour.

 

Submission Requirements

• Manuscripts must be written in English. This requirement has been in effect since mid-2020.

• Manuscripts must be between 5,000 and 6,000 words, excluding the abstract and references.

• Submissions must be accompanied by a Turnitin report with a similarity index of less than 30% and must adhere to the manuscript format outlined in the author guidelines available on our official website.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts submitted to e-AJ must:

• Be prepared in Microsoft Word format and formatted using the journal template (Make Submission).

• Adhere to the latest edition of the APA referencing style, with complete and accurately formatted references.

• Present all tables and figures clearly and ensure they are appropriately labelled.

• Demonstrate consistency, clarity, and high academic quality throughout the manuscript.

• Be original, unpublished works that are not under consideration by any other journal or publication outlet.

 

Peer Review and Decisions

Papers or manuscripts submitted to e-AJ will undergo double-blind review. Publication ethics and quality are maintained based on research interest, theoretical or conceptual contributions, and technical aspects such as language and format.

 

e-AJ affirms that ethical publication practices and maintaining the journal's reputation are critical to the successful development of knowledge. Therefore, only high-quality papers will be considered and accepted for publication.

 

Every accepted manuscript will be reviewed and receive final approval for publication by the editorial team.
