Introduced in 2012, e-Academia Journal (e-AJ) is the official journal of Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Terengganu, published by Penerbit UiTM (UiTM Press) - https://penerbit.uitm.edu.my/index.php/publication/journal, with registered e-ISSN 2289-6589. It is an open-access journal, and all articles are published in English.

Since 2020, e-AJ has revised its aim and scope from a multidisciplinary to a scholarly journal that applies theory and/or concepts developed in all types of business operations and management practices, including management and service research. e-AJ examines a wide variety of business operations and management behaviours, including the utilisation of information communication and technology in work processes and activities within any business setting.

Frequency of Publication

Since 2012, e-AJ has been published biannually in May and November.
The Call for Papers announcement is released in January/February and July/August each year. Submissions should adhere to our guidelines.

Duration of Publication Process

Based on current practice, the publication process takes approximately 100–120 days. All manuscripts are processed as follows:

•              Desk review process (within 30 days)
•              Notification of acceptance or rejection for review to authors (within 10 days)
•              Review process (between 15 and 30 days)

•              Notification of acceptance for final publication (within 15 days after the final revision by authors

•              Copy-editing process (within 15 days

•              Final publication (within 20 days after the date of acceptance)

 Peer Review Process

To ensure the integrity of knowledge contribution and maintain quality, e-AJ employs a double-blind review process with at least two reviewers for each manuscript. All reviewers from various fields of expertise serve on a voluntary basis. Author details, including names and affiliations, are removed from the manuscript by the editors before reviewer assignment. This enables fair judgement and provides greater opportunity for constructive feedback from reviewers to authors without prejudice.
