About the Journal

International Journal of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics (IJMAL) is a fully refereed journal indexed in MYJurnal Malaysian Citation Centre (MCC) published four times a year by Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia. It is a multilingual journal which publishes articles in English, Bahasa Melayu, Asian and European Languages. The Journal, formerly known as International Journal of Language Studies (IJLS), started as a home-grown publication focusing on research by academicians of APB and has begun to spread its publication wings to include articles from international researchers, IJMAL has gone fully online.
