Perbezaan di antara Pendapatan Isi Rumah dan Fenomena Keganasan Rumah Tangga di Negeri Terengganu dan Kelantan

Keganasan rumah tangga merupakan satu isu yang membimbangkan dalam komuniti. Statistik Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) menunjukkan kes keganasan rumah tangga semakin meningkat dari tahun 2018 hingga 2021. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyelidikan berbentuk kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik persampelan pelbagai peringkat. Seramai 390 orang responden yang memenuhi krateria pemilihan telah dipilih sebagai sampel kajian. Kajian ini dijalankan di dua buah negeri di Malaysia iaitu Negeri Terengganu dan Kelantan. Hasil kajian dianalisis melalui perisian Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) versi 25 dan diolah menggunakan analisis inferensi (ANOVA). Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa pendapatan isi rumah merupakan salah satu faktor yang mendorong keganasan rumah tangga. Oleh itu, penilaian mengenai kesedaran tentang sosioekonomi, budaya dan keperluan penyampaian dan perkhidmatan yang cekap adalah isu yang perlu diberi perhatian dari pihak berwajib.
