Voice of Academia (VoA) is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal published bi-annually by Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. The journal publishes high-quality scholarly work that contributes to academic research and professional practice.

VoA provides an interdisciplinary platform for research in the social sciences, with a focus on institutional, organisational and societal contexts. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners and policymakers that offer theoretical, empirical and applied insights. The journal accepts original and unpublished manuscripts, including research articles, conceptual papers, case studies and literature reviews. All submissions must demonstrate scholarly rigour, originality and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Publication Frequency: VoA is published twice a year in January and July

Digital Preservation and Archiving
JIBE participates in the LOCKSS system Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe, a decentralized preservation network that enables participating libraries to securely store and preserve journal content. This ensures that content remains accessible and can be restored in the event of system failure or journal discontinuation.

Editorial Integrity and Endogeny:
VoA is committed to maintaining editorial independence and minimising publication endogeny. The proportion of published articles authored by editors, editorial board members or reviewers does not exceed 25% within each issue or publication year. All submissions are subject to independent peer review and editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit.
