About the Journal

Voice of Academia (VoA) (e-ISSN: 2682-7840) is a refereed, bi‑annual academic journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. It publishes high-quality, original research in business and management, economics, law, finance, information technology and information management, administrative and political science, education and Islamic studies.

VoA serves researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers seeking evidence-based insights. The journal accepts empirical studies, case studies, conceptual frameworks, theoretical syntheses and literature reviews.

Archiving Policy:

Voice of Academia (VoA) ensures the long-term preservation, integrity and accessibility of all published content through multiple recognized digital archiving systems.

  1. Distributed Archiving via LOCKSS
    The journal participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program, which establishes a distributed preservation network among participating libraries. This ensures that multiple copies of all published content are securely stored and can be retrieved in the event of website or publisher failure.

  2. Institutional Repository Backup
    All published articles are archived in the institutional repository of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), providing an additional layer of preservation, redundancy, and permanent public access.

  3. Persistent Identifiers and Metadata
    Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and includes comprehensive structured metadata. This ensures persistent identification, facilitates discoverability across indexing platforms (including Scopus), and guarantees long-term accessibility in line with best practices for scholarly publishing.
