Call for Papers

The ASEAN Entrepreneurship Journal (AEJ) invites original empirical, conceptual, theoretical, methodological and review studies that advance understanding of entrepreneurship and new venture development. AEJ welcomes research on entrepreneurial activity, venture development and entrepreneurship ecosystems, including entrepreneurial intention, opportunity recognition, new venture creation, SMEs, innovation, technology and digital entrepreneurship, social and sustainable entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship, women and youth entrepreneurship, family business, entrepreneurial leadership, finance, marketing, education, policy and institutional development, resilience, responsible entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in emerging technologies.

AEJ particularly welcomes studies on ASEAN and other emerging and developing economies, including comparative and international research that examines the economic, institutional, technological, social and cultural contexts of entrepreneurship. Research at the intersection of entrepreneurship with business, management, economics, technology, education and the social sciences is considered when entrepreneurship is central to the study. Submitted manuscripts should present a clear research problem, engage with relevant literature, use an appropriate and transparent methodology, provide evidence based analysis and make a clear contribution to entrepreneurship research.
