Journal Governance

AEJ is governed by an Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board, who are responsible for the journal's academic direction, editorial policies, peer-review process and publication decisions.

Editorial decisions are made independently based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, research quality and peer-review evaluation. Neither the publisher nor financial considerations influence the academic assessment or editorial decisions concerning submitted manuscripts.

AEJ is committed to transparency, editorial independence, research integrity and responsible scholarly publishing.
