ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The Journal of Islamic Philanthropy & Social Finance (JIPSF) (e-ISSN: 2590-3942) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, and managed by the Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (IPSF), formerly known as Centre for Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (CIPSF), UiTM. The journal is published biannually in March and September.

 
Since 2023, the Journal has committed to publishing a minimum of 20 articles annually in two issues, with at least four articles in each issue.

JIPSF provides a platform for publishing original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers and theoretical studies related to Islamic philanthropy, Islamic social finance and related interdisciplinary areas. The journal aims to advance scholarly knowledge by publishing research that contributes to academic discourse, policy development and professional practice.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research from fields including Islamic finance, economics, management, governance, public policy, law, accounting, technology and social sciences. JIPSF serves researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, regulators, institutions and postgraduate students interested in the development of Islamic philanthropy and social finance.

All manuscripts submitted to JIPSF undergo a rigorous double-blinded peer-review process to ensure originality, academic quality, methodological rigour and research integrity. The journal follows the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

JIPSF operates under a Diamond Open Access publishing model. All published articles are freely available online without subscription fees or article processing charges (APCs), ensuring unrestricted access to scholarly research. JIPSF is committed to contributing to the advancement of research and practice in Islamic philanthropy and social finance through the publication of high-quality scholarly works for the academic and professional communities.
