Copyright

Authors publishing in the Journal of Islamic Philanthropy & Social Finance (JIPSF) retain full copyright and intellectual property rights to their work.

Upon acceptance of an article for publication, authors grant JIPSF a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, display and communicate the article in print, electronic and online formats. This licence enables JIPSF to:

  • publish and identify the article as the official version of record;
  • assign and maintain a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) or other persistent identifier;
  • archive, preserve and disseminate the published article;
  • deposit and index the article in recognised abstracting, indexing and digital preservation services; and
  • identify UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA as the original publisher.

This publishing licence does not transfer copyright ownership. Authors remain the copyright holders of their work and may share, deposit and reuse the published version of record in personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories and future scholarly works, provided that appropriate acknowledgement is given to the original publication in JIPSF, including the DOI where available.

Licensing

JIPSF is a fully open access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Licence.

Under the CC BY 4.0 Licence, anyone may:

  • read, download, copy, distribute and share the published work in any medium or format;
  • adapt, remix, transform and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use;

provided that they:

  • give appropriate credit to the author(s) and JIPSF;
  • provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 Licence; and
  • indicate whether changes have been made.

No additional legal or technological restrictions may be applied that limit the rights granted under the licence.
