ABOUT THE JOURNAL
Journal of Islamic Philanthropy & Social Finance (JIPSF), E-ISSN-2590-3942 is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. JIPSF runs biannual issues and is managed by a team of scholars from the Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (CIPSF), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Cawangan Melaka, Malaysia. The Journal of Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (JIPSF) publishes high-quality theoretical and empirical research in the fields of Islamic philanthropy and social finance. The journal is a platform for the dissemination of rigorous, theory-driven, and empirically validated knowledge to a core audience of academics and researchers. The journal covers a broad range of topics in Islamic philanthropy and social finance-related issues. Interdisciplinary and policy-relevant studies that contribute to knowledge and practice in Islamic philanthropy and social finance are especially encouraged.
The Journal is published twice a year, and starting from the year 2023, JIPSF has been published in March and September.
AIM AND SCOPE
This scholarly avenue is a multidisciplinary journal stemming from emerging issues in areas of Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance. This includes zakat, waqf, infaq, charity, qard al-hassan, Islamic finance, and Islamic microfinance. The editors welcome manuscripts in the above disciplines and the subdisciplines. Prospective authors are encouraged to use this submission link to advance their manuscript for review and possible publication. All published articles are archived in UiTM library's repository at Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR) and Malaysian Citation Centre's Mysitasi portal. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Therefore, the user must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. The user may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the user or his/her use. The user may not use the material for commercial purposes, distribute the modified material, or build upon the existing material. The user may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
Open Access: Committed to the diamond open-access model, JIPSF charges no fees to authors or readers for publication or access.
