Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be in English and should be between 3,500 to 5,000 words, including diagrams, figures, tables, etc. An abstract not exceeding 150 words.
  2. All submissions must be original and should not have been previously accepted for publication in a journal, conference proceedings, or be under review at another conference or publication.
  3. All submissions must adhere to the ethics of publishing, in particular the avoidance of plagiarism. Manuscripts are subject to a double-blind review process as follows:
    a. An "abstract file" containing all the authors’ information, including title, affiliation, mailing addresses, email addresses, abstract and keywords,
    b. A "full paper" for the blind peer-review process, and thus should only have the title and abstract on the cover page.
  4. The manuscripts’ contents shall be the authors’ sole responsibility, and publication does not imply the concurrence of the Editorial Board or the publishers.
  5. All submissions require language editing proof. Please consider using a copyediting or language editing service. You can either do this before submission or at the revision stage. Please note that the use of editing service is at your own expense and does not ensure that your article will be selected for peer review or accepted for publication.
  6. Manuscript submissions in MS Word file (download SMRJ template HERE) must be done through the ConfBay platform. Authors are required to include a cover page indicating the name(s), address, contact numbers and email of the author(s). Authors are also required to acknowledge the contributions of sponsors and each author.
  7. Figures, tables, and references should also be on separate pages at the end of the text. References should follow the APA style, must be complete and placed at the end of the manuscript. Samples of entries are as follows:
  • Book:

          Hair, J. F., Hult, G. T. M., Ringle, C. M., & Sarstedt, M. (2022). A Primer on Partial Least                                   Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) (3e). Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage.
