Instructions for Author

The Social and Management Research Journal (SMRJ) welcomes original scholarly contributions in the fields of social sciences and management. Authors must ensure that all submissions comply with the journal’s editorial standards, ethical requirements, and submission guidelines.

1. Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Recommended length: 3,500 to 5,000 words, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Each submission must include:
    • Title
    • Abstract (maximum 150 words)
    • Keywords (3–5 keywords)

Authors must submit:

  1. Title Page (separate file) containing:
    • Author names
    • Institutional affiliations
    • Corresponding author details
    • Acknowledgements and funding information (if applicable)
  2. Blinded Manuscript File:
    • No author-identifying information
    • Includes title, abstract, keywords, and full text

All submissions must be made through the journal’s official submission system.

2. Originality and Ethical Requirements

Submissions must be:

  • Original and unpublished
  • Not under consideration elsewhere
  • Free from plagiarism and unethical practices

Authors are responsible for:

  • Proper citation of all sources
  • Accuracy of data and findings
  • Disclosure of any conflicts of interest
  • Ensuring all listed authors have made significant contributions

3. Peer Review

All manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process.

4. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must:

  • Be submitted in Microsoft Word format using the journal template
  • Follow APA referencing style (latest edition)
  • Include complete and properly formatted references
  • Present tables and figures clearly, either embedded or placed at the end of the manuscript

Authors should ensure consistency, clarity, and academic quality throughout the manuscript.

5. Language Quality

Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are written in clear and grammatically correct English.

  • Language editing services are optional and may be used at the author’s discretion
  • The use of such services does not guarantee acceptance

SMRJ operates under a full open access model.
