Journal Governance

The Journal of Creative Arts is governed by an Editor in Chief and an Editorial Board who are responsible for the journal's academic direction, editorial policies, peer review process, publication standards, and editorial decisions.

Editorial decisions are made independently and based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, methodological and scholarly quality, and the recommendations arising from the peer review process. Neither the publisher, the host institution, nor financial or commercial considerations influence the academic evaluation or editorial decisions concerning submitted manuscripts.

The journal is committed to editorial independence, transparency, research integrity, academic quality and responsible scholarly publishing. The Editor in Chief and Editorial Board are responsible for maintaining these principles throughout the submission, peer review, editorial evaluation and publication processes.

The publisher provides the journal with the administrative, technical and publishing infrastructure necessary to support its operations but does not interfere with the academic assessment of manuscripts or the decisions of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.
