Withdrawal
The Advances in Business Research International Journal (ABRIJ) is committed to high-quality publishing and ethical standards. Manuscript withdrawal requests—especially during advanced editorial stages—cause unnecessary delays and waste the time of editors, reviewers, and staff. This policy outlines the conditions for withdrawal.
Author Responsibilities Before Submission.
Authors must ensure the following before submitting a manuscript:
- All authors have agreed on authorship, order, and approval of the final version.
- Research students/researchers have obtained permission from supervisors, where applicable.
- The manuscript complies with ABRIJ’s Publication Ethics.
- It has been formally withdrawn from any previous publisher, if previously submitted elsewhere.
- The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
- All data and facts are accurate and error-free.
Acceptable Withdrawal Reasons
Withdrawal will be permitted only for compelling and unavoidable reasons. Authors must submit an Article Withdrawal Form signed by all authors stating the reason. This form is available from the editorial office. A manuscript is considered withdrawn only after official confirmation from ABRIJ.
Unethical Withdrawal
The following are considered unethical:
- Withdrawing a manuscript because it has been accepted by another journal.
- Withdrawal during advanced editorial stages (e.g., near-complete peer review) without valid justification.
Author Responsibilities After Publication
If a manuscript is withdrawn after publication:
- Publication charges (if paid) will not be refunded.
- Retraction notices will be issued where necessary.
Delays in Review Process
If the review process exceeds twelve months from submission without editorial decision, authors may withdraw their manuscript without penalty. This policy ensures fairness to all parties and protects the integrity of the scholarly publishing process.
