1. Restoration of Journal Online Services

The internet service interruption affecting the journal's online platform has been successfully resolved. Effective 3 July 2026, the journal's online submission and publishing services have been fully restored.

Authors may resume manuscript submissions and manage existing submissions. Reviewers may continue accessing assigned manuscripts and completing the peer review process. Readers may also access published journal content and online resources as usual.

The Editorial Office appreciates the patience and understanding of authors reviewers and readers during the interruption.

2. Update on Scopus and Web of Science Evaluation 

The Editorial Office is pleased to announce that the Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) is currently undergoing evaluation by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) for consideration for inclusion in the Scopus database.

         

In addition, JIBE is currently undergoing evaluation through Clarivate's Web of Science editorial selection process for consideration for inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection.

           

These evaluations are ongoing and do not constitute acceptance or inclusion in either database. The Editorial Office will share further official updates when information becomes available.

3. Celebrating 10 Years of JIBE (2016-2026)

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) marks its tenth anniversary of publication in 2026. Since its inaugural issue in 2016, JIBE has provided a platform for the dissemination of scholarly research in business economics entrepreneurship and related disciplines.

Over the past decade, the journal has continued to develop its editorial processes expand its scholarly reach and support the dissemination of research to the academic community. The contributions of authors reviewers Editorial Board members and readers have played an important role in the journal's development.

As JIBE enters its second decade, the Editorial Office remains committed to supporting high quality scholarly publication strengthening research integrity and enhancing the journal's contribution to business economics entrepreneurship and related fields.

4. JIBE Citation Milestone

As of July 2026, articles published in the Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) had been cited by 90 publications indexed in Scopus, based on the Scopus Secondary Document Citedness metric. This citation information reflects citations to JIBE articles in Scopus indexed publications and does not indicate that JIBE itself is currently indexed in Scopus.

The Editorial Office acknowledges the contributions of the authors whose work has been cited and the researchers who have engaged with and referenced JIBE publications. JIBE remains committed to publishing rigorous scholarly research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in international business, economics, entrepreneurship and related fields.

5. Editorial Policies Updated to Strengthen Publication Ethics and Transparency

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) has updated its editorial policies and related documentation to strengthen publication ethics transparency and editorial governance.

The revised framework includes updates to the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, Peer Review Policy, Guide for Authors, Submission Preparation Checklist, Conflict of Interest Policy, Retraction Correction and Withdrawal Policy, Use of Generative AI Policy and related editorial documentation.

The revisions reflect internationally recognised publishing practices and draw on relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). JIBE has also incorporated the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT) where applicable to provide greater transparency in the recognition of individual contributions to scholarly work.
