1. Restoration of Journal Online Services

The internet service interruption affecting the journal's online platform has been successfully resolved. Effective 3 July 2026, all online services have been fully restored.

Authors may resume manuscript submissions and the management of existing submissions. Reviewers may continue accessing assigned manuscripts and completing the peer-review process. Readers may once again access journal content and online resources without interruption. Continued support for the journal is greatly appreciated.

2. Update on Scopus and Web of Science Evaluation 

The Editorial Office is pleased to announce that the Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) is currently undergoing evaluation by the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) for potential inclusion in the Scopus database.

           

In addition, JIBE is under evaluation by Clarivate for potential inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection. These evaluations reflect the journal’s commitment to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing, editorial quality, publication ethics and research integrity.

3. Celebrating 10 Years of JIBE (2016-2026)

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) marks its tenth anniversary of publication in 2026. Since its inaugural issue in 2016, JIBE has provided a platform for the dissemination of scholarly research in business, economics, entrepreneurship and related disciplines. Over the past decade, the journal has strengthened its editorial processes, maintained a rigorous peer-review system and developed its international academic presence. The continued contributions of authors, reviewers, Editorial Board members and readers have supported the journal’s development.

As JIBE enters its second decade, the Editorial Office remains committed to supporting high-quality research publication, strengthening research integrity and enhancing the journal’s scholarly contribution. The Editorial Office extends its appreciation to all contributors to the journal’s progress and development.

4. JIBE Citation Milestone

As of July 2026, articles published in JIBE have been cited by 90 Scopus-indexed publications, according to the Scopus Secondary Document Citedness metric.

The Editorial Office acknowledges the contributions of authors whose work has been cited, as well as researchers who have engaged with and referenced JIBE publications. The journal remains committed to publishing research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in business, economics, entrepreneurship and related disciplines.

5. Editorial Policies Updated to Strengthen Publication Ethics and Transparency

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) has comprehensively updated its editorial policies to strengthen publication ethics, transparency and editorial governance. The revised framework includes updates to the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, Peer Review Policy, Guide for Authors, Submission Preparation Checklist, Conflict of Interest Policy, Retraction, Correction and Withdrawal Policy, Use of Generative AI Policy and related editorial documentation. These revisions align JIBE with internationally recognised publishing standards, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT).
