Aims and Scope

Aims

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scholarship on how business, economic and entrepreneurial systems interact, adapt and shape development in an increasingly interconnected global economy.

JIBE publishes original theoretical, empirical and interdisciplinary research at the intersection of international business, economic development and entrepreneurship. The journal examines how firms, institutions, markets and entrepreneurial ecosystems respond to and shape processes of globalisation, technological change, institutional transformation and sustainability transitions, with particular attention to emerging and transitional economies.

JIBE welcomes research that advances theoretical understanding, provides robust empirical evidence, develops innovative methodologies or offers comparative and cross-country perspectives that contribute to the understanding of international business, economic development and entrepreneurship across diverse institutional and geographical contexts. The journal is also interested in research that generates insights with implications for policy, business practice, innovation and sustainable development.
