Article Processing Charge (APC)

Effective from Volume 9, Issue 2 (October 2026), the E-Journal of Islamic Thought and Understanding (E-JITU) will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) of RM200.00 for every article accepted for publication. A special rate of RM150.00 applies to articles published under a special issue, subject to a minimum of 20 accepted articles for that issue. This charge is intended to support the costs of processing, editing, and publishing, ensuring the continued quality and sustainability of the journal.

This charge is applied only after an article has been accepted for publication, not at the point of initial submission. Authors who have already submitted manuscripts for Volume 9, Issue 2 (October 2026) are kindly requested to resubmit their manuscripts through the restored E-JITU OJS system.
