[NOTICE, JULY 2026]

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: RESTORATION OF THE E-JITU OJS SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)

Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers,

We are pleased to inform you that the online journal system of the E-Journal of Islamic Thought & Understanding (E-JITU) has resumed normal operation following the disruption affecting the UiTM Open Journal Systems (OJS). The disruption had impacted manuscript submission, peer review, publication, and editorial management processes.

To facilitate the publication process for Vol. 9, Issue 2 (October 2026), all authors who have previously submitted manuscripts for this issue are kindly requested to resubmit their manuscripts through a new submission in the E-JITU OJS system. This measure is intended to ensure that all manuscripts are properly recorded and processed in the restored OJS platform.

Please also be informed that, effective from Vol. 9, Issue 2 (October 2026), the E-Journal of Islamic Thought & Understanding (E-JITU) will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC is RM200.00 per accepted article.

The Editorial Board of E-JITU sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused during the system disruption and greatly appreciates the patience, cooperation, and continued support of all authors, reviewers, and readers.
