Aims and Scope

AIMS

The E-Journal of Islamic Thought & Understanding (E-JITU) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a scholarly platform for the publication of original research, scholarly analyses and conceptual discussions in Islamic studies and related fields.

E-JITU aims to promote rigorous and relevant scholarship that contributes to the advancement of Islamic thought and understanding, while addressing contemporary issues affecting Muslim societies, institutions and communities.

Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Malay. All submissions should demonstrate clarity of presentation, originality, academic rigour and scholarly contribution to the relevant field.
