These preservation mechanisms provide redundancy, decentralized archiving and long-term preservation of the scholarly record to ensure continued access to published content.

E-JITU supports standard metadata and interoperability protocols to enhance discoverability, indexing and long-term accessibility, including:

  • OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting)
  • Structured XML metadata
  • Crossref metadata registration

All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref to ensure persistent identification, stable citation linking and reliable long-term access.

Published articles remain permanently accessible as part of the journal’s scholarly record, including in the event of journal discontinuation or platform migration.
