Welcome to E-Journal of Islamic Thought & Understanding (E-JITU)
The E-Journal of Islamic Thought & Understanding (E-JITU) (e-ISSN: 2600-9617) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Penerbit Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM Press) and managed by the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Melaka, Malaysia.
The journal is published biannually (April and October) and provides a platform for researchers and the academic community to disseminate original scholarly works in the fields of Islamic Communication, Muamalat, Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking and Finance, Shari'ah and Law, Islamic Law and Judicial System, Halal Science and Management, Islamic Civilization, Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Islamic Education and Management, as well as Islamic Administration and Management.
Effective from Volume 9, Issue 2 (October 2026), an Article Processing Charge (APC) of RM200.00 is applicable for every manuscript accepted for publication.

The journal is issued biannually and serves as a platform for researchers and academics to disseminate scholarly work related to Islamic Studies. Publication in E-JITU is free of charge. The journal is indexed in MyCite, Google Scholar, and MyJurnal.
