About the Journal
The Advances in Business Research International Journal (ABRIJ) (eISSN: 2462-1838) is a rigorously peer reviewed, open access scholarly journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia.
ABRIJ provides an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality, original research that advances knowledge in contemporary business and management. The journal is distinctly positioned at the intersection of digital transformation, strategic agility and organisational development, emphasising interdisciplinary integration across core business domains such as management, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance and innovation studies.
The journal prioritises empirical, theoretical, and methodological contributions that offer meaningful implications for both academia and practice. While global in scope, ABRIJ places particular emphasis on research addressing ASEAN, Asia Pacific and other emerging and transitional economies, thereby contributing regionally grounded insights to the global scholarly discourse.
Publication Frequency
ABRIJ is published biannually in May and October.

Editorial Endogeny
ABRIJ maintains a strict endogeny policy to ensure editorial independence and diversity of authorship. No more than 25 percent of research articles published in any issue or calendar year (for continuous publication) may include authors affiliated with the editorial board, including editors and board members.
Revenue Sources
ABRIJ operates with full financial support from the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)—through UiTM Press and the Faculty of Business and Management. The journal is also sustained by the dedicated volunteer efforts of academic staff who contribute their time and expertise to editorial and peer review processes.
ABRIJ does not generate revenue from advertising, subscriptions, article reprints, or author fees. All editorial decisions are made with complete independence and are never influenced by financial or commercial interests.
This model reflects our commitment to academic integrity, accessibility and the advancement of scholarly knowledge without commercial bias.
Advertisements
ABRIJ accepts NO advertisements on the journal website and in articles. This includes banner ads, sponsored content, promotional materials, or any form of commercial advertising, whether on the website or within published articles.
This policy is in place to ensure that:
- Editorial decisions remain fully independent and free from commercial influence
- All published content upholds academic neutrality and scholarly objectivity
- A clear and consistent boundary is maintained between editorial content and any potential commercial interests
