About the Journal
The Journal of Islamic Philanthropy & Social Finance (JIPSF) (e-ISSN: 2590-3942) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia and managed by the Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (IPSF), formerly known as the Centre for Islamic Philanthropy and Social Finance (CIPSF), UiTM.
JIPSF publishes biannual issues in March and September. The journal provides a scholarly platform for research on Islamic philanthropy, Islamic social finance and related interdisciplinary fields. It publishes original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers and theoretical studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, policy and practice in these areas.
The journal covers research related to Islamic philanthropy and social finance, including but not limited to zakat, waqf, infaq, charity, qard al-hasan, Islamic finance and Islamic microfinance. JIPSF welcomes scholarly contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners and policymakers working in related disciplines and interdisciplinary areas. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-anonymised peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality and research integrity.
