The issue highlights the multidisciplinary nature of the journal by addressing both theoretical and practical dimensions of Islamic social finance and its role in responding to contemporary societal challenges. The articles explore emerging financial and commercial issues, including analyses of Bay' Bithaman Ajil in Shopee PayLater, al-Qard contracts in Islamic banking deposits, and the adaptation of philanthropic elements within Shariah-compliant healthcare institutions. Several contributions also focus on community well-being and human development through discussions on family maintenance (nafkah), autism-friendly built environments, mental health among adolescents, spiritual intelligence and moral development, and innovative approaches to Islamic education. In addition, the issue features studies on halal-related concerns, socio-cultural practices within Muslim communities, and contemporary Islamic legal and ethical issues. Collectively, the 15 articles provide valuable insights into how Islamic principles can guide financial practices, social welfare initiatives, educational development, and community empowerment. The issue serves as a useful resource for academics, policymakers, practitioners, and Islamic institutions seeking to strengthen the contribution of Islamic philanthropy and social finance to sustainable socio-economic development and societal well-being.
