About the Journal

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE), registered ISSN number 2250-1429 (Online), is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (May and October) by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. 

Publication Frequency
JIBE has been published twice a year, in June and December, since its inception. During a transition in 2024, it was published in June and November. Starting in 2025, JIBE is published in May and October.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism
Articles submitted to JIBE will be checked for a similarity index report via Turnitin or other anti-plagiarism software. Articles with a more than 20% similarity index will not be accepted for publication in the journal.

Archiving
In line with digital preservation and web archiving initiatives, the journal's online submission system (based on the OJS 3.0) is using the 'CLOCKSS' and 'LOCKSS' digital archiving policies. Articles are also preserved in the UiTM Institutional Repository.

Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Author Charges
Universiti Teknologi MARA is supporting the publishing costs, article submission, processing charges, and any other publication fees for JIBE. As such, JIBE does not have any submission fees, editorial processing charges, article processing charges, page charges, and colour charges.
