About the Journal

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE), registered ISSN 2250-1429 (Online), is a scientific, open access, double-blind peer reviewed journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.

Publication Frequency
JIBE is published semiannually in May and October.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. JIBE strictly prohibits any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices. JIBE follows the ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines in research conduct, reporting, peer review, and authorship.

Articles submitted to JIBE will be checked for a similarity index report using Turnitin or other anti-plagiarism software. Articles with a similarity index exceeding 20% will not be accepted for publication in the journal. 

Authorship and Contributor Transparency

All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript. Changes in authorship after submission are not permitted without written consent from all authors.

Appeals and Complaints

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written justification to the Chief Editor. Complaints regarding ethical misconduct, peer review fairness, or editorial handling are investigated according to COPE guidelines.

Archiving
In line with digital preservation and web archiving initiatives, the journal's online submission system (based on the OJS 3.0) uses the 'CLOCKSS' and 'LOCKSS' digital archiving policies. Articles are also preserved in the UiTM Institutional Repository.

Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal. They will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Author Charges
Universiti Teknologi MARA is supporting the publishing costs, article submission, processing charges, and any other publication fees for JIBE. As such, JIBE does not charge any submission fees, editorial processing charges, article processing charges, page charges, and colour charges.
