Privacy Statement
The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) is committed to protecting your information and ensuring it is handled with care and transparency and in compliance with privacy regulations.
We store all information securely on our Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, with access limited to authorized editorial and administrative staff. We do not share, sell or rent information to third parties for marketing purposes.
When we work with trusted service providers such as OJS hosting, plagiarism detection tools or indexing databases (DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science), we share only what is necessary and require them to follow strict confidentiality and data protection standards. Metadata from published articles, including author names and affiliations, is shared to ensure broad discoverability.
Some data may be processed or stored outside Malaysia. In such cases, safeguards are in place to protect it. We retain information only for as long as necessary to serve its intended purpose, comply with legal requirements, and maintain the scholarly record. Author names and affiliations in published articles are preserved permanently.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (excluding published academic records). You also have the right to object to certain types of processing or withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
