Archiving Policy

The Journal of International Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (JIBE) is committed to ensuring the long term preservation, accessibility and integrity of all published scholarly content. 

JIBE supports metadata harvesting via OAI-PMH and uses JATS XML structured metadata for indexing and long term discoverability.

Digital Preservation and Archiving

JIBE participates in the LOCKSS system Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe, a decentralized preservation network that enables participating libraries to securely store and preserve journal content. This ensures that content remains accessible and can be restored in the event of system failure or journal discontinuation.

All published content is also archived in the UiTM Institutional Repository and maintained on the official JIBE journal website, ensuring continuous and dependable access.

All published content remains permanently accessible even if the journal ceases publication.

Persistent Identifiers

All articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers DOIs through Crossref, ensuring accurate citation, enhanced discoverability and long term accessibility.

Content Scope and Integrity

This policy applies to all journal content, including full text articles, metadata and supplementary materials. JIBE ensures that all archived content remains complete, authentic and unaltered over time.
